“Augmenting the approach to chemical R&D“

Prof. Vincenzo Busico is a Full Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Chemical Sciences of the University of Naples Federico II.
Since 2004, he has served as Scientific Chairman of the Dutch Polymer Institute (DPI, Eindhoven, Netherlands) for the Technology Area ‘Polyolefins’, and from 2007 to 2011 he was Visiting Professor of Polyolefin Chemistry at Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands).
He has received numerous awards for his research activities, including the prestigious Ziegler-Natta Lectureship Award from the German Chemical Society in 2009. He is the Scientific Director of the Laboratory of Stereoselective Polymerizations at the Department of Chemical Sciences and is co-founder and President of the academic spin-off HTExplore S.r.l., a leading company in High Throughput Experimentation services for the chemical industry.
