“Electrogeneration of Sol-Gel Thin Films”
Prof. Alain Walcarius is a Research Director at the CNRS and leads the analytical chemistry and electrochemistry group at the Laboratoire de Chimie Physique et Microbiologie pour les Matériaux et l’Environnement (LCPME) of the Université de Lorraine. He is recognized for his contributions to the field of materials chemistry, particularly in electrochemistry and mesoporous materials science. His recent publications include studies on the electrogeneration of non-conductive materials, the synthesis of ultra-thin silver nanowires in confined spaces, and the development of advanced electrochemical sensors
In 2023 and 2024, he was awarded the “Materials Science in France Leader Award”, recognizing his impact on materials science and chemistry in France.
