“Nanobiosensors for diagnostics applications”
Prof. Arben Merkoçi is currently ICREA Professor and director of the Nanobioelectronics & Biosensors Group at Institut Català de Nanociencia i Nanotecnologia (ICN2), part of Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology (BIST). Prof.Merkoçi research is focused on the design and application ofcutting edge nanotechnology and nanoscience-based, cost-efficient biosensors.
He has published more than 370 peer-review research papers, with more than 27,000 citations and an h-index of 84, and has been invited to give over 200 plenary lectures and keynotes. Prof. Merkoçi is Co-Editor In Chief of Biosensors and Bioelectronics. He is co-founder of two spin-off companies, Paper Drop dedicated to nanodiagnostics and Graphenica Lab to electronic printing.
