Prof. Franck Dumeignil is the Director of the Catalyst and Solid State Chemistry Unit at the University of Lille. His research activity is in the field of heterogeneous catalysis and biomass chemistry, where he has coordinated several national and international projects worth several tens of millions of euros, including the EuroBioRef program. In 2015, he received the ‘Glycerin Innovation Award’ from the American Oil Chemical Society for his innovative contribution to the field.
With over 200 published scientific articles, 50 patents and a career that has seen him at the forefront of numerous research projects, Franck Dumeignil is also a founding member of the startup TEAMCAT Solutions, created in 2016 on the basis of a patent resulting from the EuroBioRef project.
