Prof. Dario Neri is Professor of Biomacromolecules at ETH Zurich and co-founder of the biotech company Philogen. Author of more than 500 publications in international scientific journals, he is recognized as a leading figure in the field of therapeutic antibodies for the treatment of cancer and other angiogenesis-related disorders, a field in which he has contributed to the advancement of multiple products currently undergoing multicenter clinical trials.
He has received numerous awards, including the ISOBM Abbott Prize (2000), the Amgen-Dompé Biotec Award (2000), the Prous Award of the European Federation of Medicinal Chemistry (2006), the Phoenix Prize (2014), an ERC Advanced Grant (2015), the Paul Harris Award (2022), and the Pratesi Medal of the Italian Chemical Society (2023).
