He graduated in 2006 from the University of Perugia and obtained his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Iain Coldham at the University of Sheffield, UK. His research focuses on the development of new catalytic methods for organic synthesis. He has published around 100 articles and has an H-index of 40.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">He has received numerous research grants, including <em>ERC Starting, Proof-of-Concept, and Consolidator Grants<\/em>. He has also won several prestigious awards, such as the <em>ChemSocRev Pioneering Lectureship<\/em> (RSC) and the <em>Organic Synthesis Lectureship<\/em>, both in 2022.
