Stephen K. Hashmi<\/strong> is an internationally renowned German organic chemist, known for his pioneering contributions in the field of homogeneous catalysis using gold. He is the director of the <em>Catalysis Research Laboratory<\/em> (CaRLa), a collaboration between <em>BASF<\/em> and the <em>University of Heidelberg.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Hashmi has published over 720 scientific articles, with more than 46,000 citations, and has edited several books, including &#8220;<em>Modern Gold Catalyzed Synthesis&#8221;<\/em> (Wiley-VCH, 2012).
