His research activity focuses on heterogeneous catalysis, selective adsorption and industrial chemical processes, with particular attention to biomass conversion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Busca has published over 500 research articles and one book. His publications have received more than 39,000 citations, with an h-index of 101, placing him among the leading Italian scientists in the field of engineering.
