He is an expert in environmental chemistry, with a focus on emerging pollutants in water, such as PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), pesticides and persistent organic compounds. His activity focuses on the development of advanced analytical methods for the detection of contaminants in surface, ground and drinking water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">He has published 4 books and more than 100 publications in the field of analytical and environmental chemistry, of which about 50 are research or review articles published in international journals.
