He is recognized as one of the pioneers of DNA-encoded chemical libraries (DEL) technology, a novel method for drug discovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">\u200bProf. Scheuermann has published over 90 scientific articles, with more than 5,000 citations, and holds three patents related to DEL technology. He is also the organizer of the \u201cInternational Symposium on DNA-Encoded Chemical Libraries\u201d, an annual event that alternates between Zurich, Boston and China.
