“Towards a Sustainable Green Hydrogen Economy:
The Role of Perfluorinated Ionomers“

Dr. Claudio Oldani (Syensqo SA – Bollate, MI) earned his PhD in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Milan. He is currently Research & Innovation Manager at Syensqo, where he leads a team focused on the development of perfluorinated polymeric materials, primarily for applications related to the hydrogen economy.
His research interests range from the chemistry and engineering of radical polymerization of (per)fluorinated monomers to the development of materials for energy applications and heterogeneous catalysis with superacids. He is the author of approximately 50 peer-reviewed publications and the inventor on around 30 patents.
