Prof. Viktoria H. Däschlein-Gessner

Prof. Viktoria H. Däschlein-Gessner (Ruhr University Bochum) is a leading researcher in organometallic chemistry and catalysis. After completing her PhD at TU Dortmund and postdoctoral work in Berkeley and Würzburg, she has been at Ruhr University Bochum since 2016, where she also serves as Dean of Faculty and Co-Spokesperson of the RESOLV Cluster of Excellence.

She has received prestigious honors, including the IUPAC Award for Young Chemists (2010), the Klung-Wilhelmy Award (2022), and ERC Starting and Consolidator Grants. She is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of major journals such as Inorganic Chemistry, Organometallics, Chem, ChemPlusChem, and Chemical Science.
