Prof. Ming-Yu Ngai (Purdue University) is a leading figure in modern organic chemistry.
His laboratory develops innovative catalytic platforms for the synthesis and selective modification of organic molecules. By integrating experimental and computational studies to understand reaction mechanisms and reactivity principles, his group designs new catalytic systems and applies them to key challenges in organic synthesis, bioorganic chemistry, and medicinal chemistry.
His scientific contributions have been internationally recognized with prestigious awards such as the NIH MIRA, NSF CAREER, and the ACS Young Academic Investigator Award.
